It’s been a while! Nine months ago, I thought I was ready to start submitting ‘River Stories’ to agents. Then life happened. And death. Meanwhile I’ve finally been able to put some final touches on the manuscript. I feel like it’s a very solid story and this week I have actually been submitting queries – instead of continuing to research agents and tweak my query letter. I want everything to be as perfect as I can make it, but I can also see that it’s possible to obsess over details and never get anything done.
So there they go. Debra and Polly have been sent out into the world to seek a home where they can be shared with a bunch of young readers!
